Enhancing the Productivity and Production of Pulses in India

Pulses are major sources of proteins among the vegetarians in India, and complement the staple cereals in the diets with proteins, essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. India’s population would increase in view of this, India has to develop and adopt more efficient crop production technologies along with favorable policies to encourage farmers to bring more area under pulses.
